My debut apparel design project! I decided to jump head first and work with a difficult fabric—silk charmeuse. I loved learning as I made mistakes, then fixed them, then made more mistakes, then fixed them again. I’m a very hands-on learner, so this process was so helpful for me to understand how to work with difficult fabrics, proper fitting, and different sewing techniques.
